The feathers are made from real goose and duck feathers (16 feathers per feather). There are material differences between feathers and high feathers.
Conditions affect the ball's durability and trajectory (hot, cold, humid, dry air). The speed of a tennis shuttlecock is expressed in numbers (depending on the weight of the ball) - the most common in Finland is 78,
slower ball speed is 77 (hot humid air).

Victor Master 1 , Victor Master 2
The best class 1 competition balls (approved for International Badminton Federation competitions) are made of goose down. These balls undergo a multi-stage manufacturing process, where only the best feathers are selected (separated by shape and size into identical ones). At the end of the process, the trajectory of the balls is tested to ensure that the balls in the tubes are as identical as possible.
RSL TOURNEY NO 3 and RSL TOURNEY NO 4
Victor Master 3 and Victor Champion
The cheaper so-called practice balls are usually duck feather or 2lk goose feather. The difference in quality of the feathers can vary slightly, which also affects the durability and the variation of the trajectory of the ball.
Balls will keep well for a few months under normal room conditions.
The best place to store the ball is in a humid room. Balls should not be stored in cold or
especially in sub-zero temperatures. The ideal humidity is around 80-90%. In cold air the balls will start to
dry out and the durability of the natural feathers is reduced. In this case, especially in the case of foul balls, the feathers
break easily. Cold and dry winter frosts
(do not store balls in a cold car) will reduce the durability of the balls.
The balls can be carefully moistened, for example by steaming the ball tube.
However, do not over-wet the balls.
In summer, the warm, humid air will trap moisture in the feathers, making them slightly heavier (and therefore faster) but often more durable.
